Testing out the Frixion pens I bought few days ago.
Frixion Ball Clicker - Ball point tip.
Frixion Point - Quite similar to Technical pen tip.
Frixion Colors - Felt tip.
Frixion Light - Highlighter Chisel tip. I doubt you can see the color in this scan.
Ink is gel ink, it glides very smooth. However, if move too fast, it has the tendency of not getting enough ink flow to the paper. The color are kind of pale. It would also leave its stroke marks while filling in a solid color patch.
I tried erasing it with normal eraser and the rubber tip on Frixion's own pens. I do need to rub a few times to get the ink off. The normal eraser created a fuzzy edge and the harder Frixion tip created a clean edge.
Heat is the key here. To not damage the paper texture, you may opt to rub the tip elsewhere or generate heat of your eraser source before dabbing on the paper. hmm... now to think of it, maybe a test on iron would be fun.
