Finally completed a submission yesterday, allowing me more time and energy to tinker about my hobby... during work hours. Anyway, I focus mainly on Astrophe and Delvieve, occasionally sketch Wayinne to test it before finalizing.
Being a religious country, Astrophe's core concept has always been God. I like the Halo, and wanted to depict the descend of God in the flag. After observing the sketches for a few seconds, I came to realize 'UFO'. lol.
Delvieve is a desert country, living underground and curiously having the best weaving skill in the continent. I associate underground as secrecy or even ninja and exhibit the weaving skill in the flag. The 'Sheer' weave is fairly solid to touch, without sunlight it has a cream white base color in each thread and transparent under sunlight, giving the solid cloth floating in the air without support.
Wayinne is the seafarer master. Considering their trades and setting, when mention Flag, the first thing I thought off is the flags on the ship. The top of the ship to be specific. Ocean is vast, I figured that Wayinne people don't have the time to dilly dally about with symbols to let other people know who they are. So, simple and straightforward plus functionality. Combining different colors, length and direction, two tails Flag seemed to be able to convey more message by just hanging it the other way round. It is very practical as the sailor would just need a telescope to communicate, much like the flag semaphore. Ocean is big and flimsy to travel compare to land to deliver a message.
