NICE, as the name implies, everything about beauty. I find it quite difficult to determine the direction I should go.
Simplisity raw beauty? or decorated crafted beauty.
Because Astrophe and NICE had such close characteristic, I guess NICE would have to be the Crafted beauty compare to the religious Astrophe.

Not bad, another attempt on emblem, though is another country. But I am glad same with Misphissity, somethings are finally settled.
I like the simplicity of Trilliant cut, simple triangle oveall shape, yet cold be complex in the cutting. Inside is the Doily, which is up to much more design.
Crown is almost there, but I need more work on the banner, mantel or guardian.
The badge is the upside down version, signifying the mirage effect on dessert.

I was actually having a creative over the emblem, great proof is that I am working on the City and Palace few months ago. But I was planning to finish up the emblem series as soon as possible.
Today, I force myself to think about either one of the unfinished emblem when I... in similar situation now get stuck on the Palace's garden. I am happy to break through the block with Misphissity's emblem.
The overall shape is there, the fabric is there, the mantel is fine, not so sure about the guardian and the crown... would Misphissity have badge? hmm... still have a few fine tuning needed. However, even getting the basic shape settled is enough to make me very happy.

I have done the Royal Farm on the top left, adding in the details of Royal Forest at the Top where a lot of cliffs cracks crevases resided as natural defense and Royal Menagerie on the Top Right.
A lot of Royals there... lol. Next the problem comes to the back garden... I am torn between a green and lush Versailles style or a style that says gold! Rock! Gems!

Continue on the palace rebuilding that halted right before NaNoWriMo. I merely enlarged the palace to suit the rest of the city scale. Most of the positions of areas are going to stay the same.
The next step, I am going to dive in more details of the rest of the component. Especially the Retreat and Menagerie at the top and top right. The Royal Farm would be on Top left, that would come later since I am not going to customize the whole system of farming layout.
One thing I notice, my momentum of keeping this daily posting challenge seemed to slow down a lot after NaNo.
I blamed the work. :)

Continuing to work out the details of this certain character, Dallian. In yesterday's try out, I came to a realization that I need to settle all the promotions and positions I want Dallian to have been through. Secondly, I also need to figure out the names of different era he had live through.
I figure the pathway for Dallian upon finishing his study at Eterledge, scouted by Luxror King of the time.
Scholar > Master Secretary > Prince Tutor > King Tutor > Master Seneschal > Master Chancellor > Advisor.
Luxror was in war, cause of war not yet really thought out, however, I plan to have Dallian born the mid war. So that his whole career is actually overseeing the rebuilding of the nation.
Currently, I had thought about the name of era to be simple and practical. So it will based on the obvious progress of the rebuilding phases. Abolition (cleaning the evil roots), Convalesce(recuperate), Hiring (search for talents), Establish(re-establishing infrastructure and systems), Advancement(improve on existing quality.).

This is just a pondering on a character's certain timeline. Recently completed NaNo, it was unfortunately a 50k filler and information dump, which now I have to organize it in a nice and neat way while the memory is still fresh. I developed quite a few characters during the speed typing of NaNo.
I am plotting a lame boring throne usurp scene, and I do have my list of officers as per research before NaNo. But I just figured out in the story that I need the experience of the officers to determine their shrewdness and such. There is a long live character that I will base the Timeline on. It appears to be one of the favourite character I developed in NaNo whim.
The more I organize, the more I feel I need to research more on it. Surprisingly not going to finish in this one time. I expect other wise.
